Medical Tourism

Go and combine, or supercharge your savings from the penny auction and get your medical operation or your dental work in another country, such as Costa Rica, India, Panama, Taiwan, Mexico and a host of other places.

Personally I prefer Costa Rica, as it is beautiful, with some of the best doctors in the world, and it is close to the United States.

Imagine, getting an 80% discount on a $5000 dental work, for any doctor of your choice in the US and then go and use this $5000 dental treatment money, (for which you only paid about $500 - $1500) in Costa Rica and stretch the money by another factor of three to four.

Yes, medical tourism, or dental tourism as it is called, gives you quality healthcare that is about 70% cheaper than in the US.

Fifty thousand people went to Costa Rica last year to receive dental work, knee surgery, plastic surgery, weight loss surgery and eye surgery.

Approximately six million people worldwide are traveling to a less expensive country to receive medical or dental treatment.

Again, going to Costa Rica, is not for everyone, even though everyone who cannot afford healthcare in this country would be better off to throw out all those (very unfounded) concerns about the quality of healthcare in other countries.

Did you know that despite being Number One in Healthcare cost, the mortality rate of United States ranks at 102nd position when compared to other countries? Costa Rica's mortality rate is at the 13th position.

Penny bidding auctions, combined with going to Costa Rica could get you $15,000 in dentistry or other medical services for your total bidding price of about  $500 to $1500.

Now add in the trip and hotel, and you got a $15,000 treatment for no more than a couple of thousand dollars –never mind also having a great vacation on the beach, or in a jungle.

Then again, if bidding at a penny auction doesn't look like the right thing for you, then you still could be getting about 50% - 75% with medical tourism. Medical tourism alone could still be a life-saver.

Cheers to YOUR affordable healthcare - be it penny auction or medical tourism, or a powerful combination of both!
